Help Yourself.

A coupla months ago I was complaining about the ONE campaign (white bracelets, celebrities, etc) and basically talking out of my ass regarding the controversial nature of foreign aid to Africa. Well, check out this story in today's news cycle. America: don't let celebrities tell you how to think. Read some things written by experts and think for yourself.

Schick Wins a Battle in the Razor Wars.

I wrote about the Mach 3 Power razor in this space last year, and as it turns out my review was money. This disturbing report came in about a month ago to confirm what we already knew: putting batteries in one of your products so that it vibrates does not make it a technological achievement, it just makes it vibrate. The lawyers at Schick took one look at the Mach 3 advertising and said "hey, wait a minute." But you know what? I use the thing anyway. I know I panned it in my review, but I kept using it and it grew on me. It's like a little power tool right there with you in the shower. Makes me feel like I actually know how to use tools. Got a short southwest flight tonight, let's hope nobody pisses me off on the way up there, or your getting another poorly written airplane rant.
