Until further notice I'm dedicating my partition of myspace to mygirlfriend: Avid Keyboard. Look at her there, just waiting patiently for me to tell her what to do. She never complains, never protests; even if she knows I'm making a mistake she goes along with it so as not to embarrass me in front of my clients. You're smart as a tack AK; I love to tell the guys about that time you digitized all my dailies and let me type annotations at the same time. But you're not just brains. I like your style, Avid Keyboard. Your color-coded ensemble is simply a classic. You're always in style no matter where we are - heck, last week all I wanted to do was take you for a spin on the internet so I could visit some of my favorite websites - and there you were, all dressed up just to look good for me. Avid Keyboard is always down for whatever. Trim mode? "Sure babe," she seems to say. Effects mode? "Even better," she purrs. When I need to work on the mix for awhile, that's fine by you.
