Anything good in GW's State of the Union tonight? I didn't see it, but I'm betting he didn't say "Look, I know we've made a mess of things. We tanked this assignment, no doubt about it. It's going to be my legacy now and there's nothing I can do about that. But don't let this mangled Iraqi invasion deter you from seeing clearly the problems that exist in today's Middle East. Brutal theocracies. Racism. Extremism. A return to old world shariah. And just this week the installation of one of these regimes not by force, but by popular election. Not good."
